Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development processes using Azure DevOps (ADO) in a high-volume, mission-critical environment.
- Build, maintain, and upgrade deployment platforms and system infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or PowerShell.
- Utilize Automated Build Testing, Pipeline Templates, Git Repositories, and PowerShell for effective deployment processes.
- Design and construct messaging and event-driven architectures to support large-scale programs/projects.
- Apply expertise in Java EE, APIs, .Net, Cloud Platforms Programming, SQL server, Automation, and DevOps to deliver top-notch solutions for clients.
- Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft systems and execute end-to-end automation with tools such as Terraform, Azure Automation, Azure CLI, Azure biceps, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, employing strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies and trends, leveraging this knowledge to influence the adoption of new technologies within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, fostering innovation and optimal resource utilization.
- Serve as a technical coach, sharing Agile methodologies expertise and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in source control systems and their application in release management, branching, merging, and integration strategies, utilizing tools like Git, Jira, Azure DevOps Repos, or GitHub.
- Hands-on experience in hosting web applications in Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Familiarity with securing cloud applications and cloud monitoring techniques.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including Azure, VMs, Azure compute platform, RDFE, and Elastic Scale.
- Experience working within an Agile framework to identify and automate solutions that enhance developer experience and boost developer productivity.
- Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), as well as expertise in Storage, Distributed Cache Cluster, and Azure Administration.
