Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement the organization’s data architecture, encompassing data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
- Establish and uphold the organization’s data strategy, incorporating data governance and data quality measures.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to grasp the organization’s data requirements thoroughly.
- Develop and uphold data-related standards and best practices, covering areas such as data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing.
- Construct optimized database and data engineering solutions to fulfill the diverse data needs across the organization, ensuring efficient retrieval and processing.
- Continuously innovate and refine solutions based on evolving requirements, leveraging new techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as a team player.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 6 to 12 years of experience in architecting, developing, testing, and implementing Data Platform projects using Cloud Components.
- Experience working with both Structured and Unstructured data.
- Proficiency in handling flatbuffers and protobuf.
- Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing, Data Profiling, Data Cataloging, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Dictionary, and Data Mapping.
- Strong understanding of storage technologies including Database, Data lake, Data warehouse, and Data mart.
- Proficiency in Database technologies such as SQL, BigQuery, Teradata, etc.
- Experience in programming languages like Python, Java, and C/C++ with object-oriented design is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end cloud infrastructure, architectures, and designs.
- Excellent logical, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
