Mandatory Skills:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will report to the DevOps Team Lead and be responsible for addressing and anticipating developers’ needs, providing support, infrastructure and deployment automation, and technical guidance as required.
Additionally, you will continually seek ways to enhance the developer experience by improving our Tools-as-a-Service and On-Prem release infrastructure, and advancing automation processes.
As a member of the DevOps group, you will offer technical guidance and infrastructure education to developers, ensuring adherence to best practices. This includes onboarding projects, managing tool migrations, and implementing modern automation approaches, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.
Professional Experience and Skills:
- Strong experience with JFrog Artifactory and JFrog X-ray products.
- Extensive experience with SCM methodologies, especially Git.
- At least 3+ years of experience using build tools and developing CI/CD processes in GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, or GitOps engineer.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud environments—AWS, GCP, Azure, with a preference for AWS.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux OS and networking.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Bash, Go).
Desired Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
