Description:
- Gather and communicate data capture requirements for both new and existing customer-facing platforms.
- Conduct end-to-end analysis across all data points, involving data extraction from extensive and intricate datasets.
- Develop and automate large-scale, high-performance, and scalable data pipelines.
- Possess experience in constructing and maintaining custom frameworks to support engineering and analytics requirements.
- Drive the extraction of insights from raw, unstructured data to enhance existing features and explore potential future directions.
- Establish new metrics for performance measurement and advocate for changes to existing metrics when necessary.
- Develop and maintain complex Tableau dashboards, aggregating data from multiple sources. Support Tableau developers by crafting intricate SQL queries and providing easily queryable datasets through Tableau extracts and data sources.

- Over 4 years of industry experience in a Data Engineering role, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, data services, and data products.
- Proficiency in presenting and articulating key performance metrics to collaborators and executives.
- Ability to create and comprehend advanced structural query language (SQL) scripts.
- Familiarity with dimensional modeling and business intelligence concepts.
- Adaptability to modify data results for frequent and unexpected operational changes, ensuring enhanced customer experience across multiple business units.
- In-depth experience in data analysis, report creation, data profiling, anomaly detection, and identifying trends with the ability to make recommendations.
- Expertise in producing impactful visualizations and dashboards that balance art and science, prioritizing usability and interpretation.
- Extensive experience using visualization tools to deliver actionable insights, with proficiency in Tableau/D3, and certification would be a plus.
- Programming skills in building high-quality software, with a preference for proficiency in Python, Shell, and Perl.
- Proficiency in SQL, especially in MPP/No SQL databases like Vertica, Snowflake, and Redshift, in a large-scale environment.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies related to Data Engineering and Advanced Analytics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
