Selection Process of Assam Police Recruitment

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. Preliminary Document Verification

Before participating in the PST and PET, candidates must undergo document verification. Original documents and self-attested photocopies will be checked. If a candidate is found to have provided false information, they will be disqualified.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

The PST is a non-scoring test where candidates’ height, weight, and chest measurements (for males) will be taken using advanced technology. A preliminary medical examination will also be conducted to check for any physical deformities such as knock knee, flat foot, or varicose veins.

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
