Job Description:
- Solid understanding of SQL DBA fundamentals.
- Expertise and practical experience in migrating SQL databases from SQL 2008 R2 to SQL 2016/2017.
- Proficiency in Windows cluster configuration.
- Hands-on knowledge and expertise in High Availability features such as Replication, Mirroring, Log Shipping, and Always-on, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with both Physical and Virtual SQL servers.
- Desirable to have knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud platforms.
- Practical experience in building SQL servers on both Virtual and Physical servers.
- Flexibility to work during weekends and night shifts when necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
- Capability to take complete ownership of assigned DBA activities.
