Role Description:
The selected member will play a crucial role in various aspects including coding, adhering to best practices, and possessing strong design, analytical, and code review skills. They will also contribute to estimation techniques, SDLC, development methodologies (with Agile being an advantage), and industry-standard processes.
Responsibilities also include creating detailed mappings between old and new data elements, communicating with customers to verify business rules and clarify data analysis, identifying problems, and offering recommendations for overcoming challenges. Moreover, they will develop standardized procedures for common conversion routines to enhance efficiencies.
Ideal candidates will either possess strong expertise in Java with some UI knowledge or strong UI skills with the ability to learn Java. Additionally, they should understand and provide design inputs in the UI framework.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in software development and application enhancements.
- Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE (including JSP/Servlets, JPA, EJB3, JDBC, JMS), Jasper, Spring, Hibernate/iBatis, and familiarity with security frameworks like SAML or SSO.
- Hands-on experience in Angular JS, Angular 6, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and UNIX.
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XSD, and JSON.
- Exposure to Release Management including complex build scripts and deployment.
- Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse/Junit, version control tools (Git/CVS/SVN), build tools (Ant/Maven), CI/CD tools (Bamboo/Jenkins), SQL Developers, etc.
- Thorough understanding of coding standards and best practices.
- Good grasp of estimation techniques, SDLC, development methodologies (Agile is preferred), and industry-standard processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in interacting with North American counterparts/clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with tools like Eclipse, Maven, version control tools, etc.
- Ability to create detailed mappings between old and new data elements.
- Proactive in contacting customers to verify business rules and clarify data analysis.
- Proficiency in identifying and addressing problems effectively.
