A Bachelor’s Degree is the educational qualification required for the role.
Must-Have:
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and the ServiceNow Discovery module, with expertise in implementation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding and solution capabilities in ServiceNow Global scope and foundational data, such as Location, Organization, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, and Service Mapping technologies (MID Server, Horizontal Discovery, Top-Down Discovery, Patterns, and probes).
- Exposure to Event Management using ITOM workspace.
- Configuration experience of Noise Reduction and Alert grouping.
- Experience with AIOps for Alert correlation using AI/ML.
- Auto Remediation using AIOps.
- Working knowledge of Network topics such as NMAP and credentialless discovery.
- Experience working with Agentless and Agent-based discovery.
- Preferred prior experience with another Discovery application like HP uCMDB or BMC Atrium, etc.
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB & Common Service Data Model (CSDM) data model.
- Experience and solution capabilities using Scoped Applications.
- Knowledge and experience working on Service Catalog, Portal, and Building Catalog items.
- Experience in developing integrations using JDBC, SQL, SOAP, and REST with various types of systems directly or through a mid-server.
- Ability to perform research into technology partners or other vendor solutions in the context of client requirements for integration.
- Ability and fluency with Platform methodologies such as Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Workflow, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and actions.
- Fluency with the latest platform features of the latest ServiceNow release such as ROME.
- Experience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTP.
- Understanding of the ServiceNow eco-system & working knowledge across one or more products apart from ITSM, such as HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Security Operations (SecOps), Customer Service Management (CSM), etc.
Education, Certifications, And/or Experience Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
- Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM and/or ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping – Preferred.
- ITIL Foundations Certification.
