This department is responsible for administering various direct taxes, ensuring compliance, and facilitating taxpayer services in accordance with Indian tax laws and regulations.
Under the Income Tax Young Professional 2023 job notification, candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply.

Screening & Selection Process: Based on the interview.
The application forms submitted by candidates will be screened by the Screening Committee within the Directorate. The names of the shortlisted candidates for the interview will be posted on the department’s website www.incometaxindia.gov.in. Additionally, the shortlisted candidates will receive an email notification for the interview. During the interview before the Selection Committee, candidates are required to present their original certificates for verification. No travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
Educational Qualification: Under the Income Tax Young Professional 2023 job notification, individuals who have successfully completed their graduation can apply for the role.
