Role:
- Reviewing, developing, testing, and maintaining scripts for diverse functions.
- Conducting bug analysis and testing through automated scripts.
- Designing test software for nonfunctional tests such as performance, stress, and load testing.
- Executing test automation in accordance with the prescribed test strategy to ensure software alignment with implicit and explicit requirements.
- Reviewing user and software requirements documentation with relevant stakeholders.
- Specifying and executing automation scripts based on analyzed requirements and test strategy.
- Automating test cases using Selenium (Cucumber) with Java programming.
- Logging errors in the bug tracking tool, tracking issues to closure, supporting defect investigation, and validating defect fixes. Implementing test design for automation.
- Utilizing version control systems like Git and Subversion.
- Developing test documentation, including test specifications, impact testing, and ensuring product and process quality as per customer requirements.
- Generating test reports encompassing defect logging, test result logging, defect analysis, root cause analysis, and summary reports.
- Providing support to developers and testers for bug analysis through automation scripts.
Job Requirements/Skills:
- A B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Electrical, along with an MCA.
- 4-8 years of experience in software test automation.
- Strong programming skills, with a preference for proficiency in Selenium/Cucumber with Java.
- Experience working with various test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Expertise in Regression, Load, and Performance testing, including test design and execution.
- Previous experience with automation test tools such as Selenium, BDD, and JMeter.
