Role:
Execute development and design tasks, focusing on programming, customization, testing, and application maintenance. Develop and deploy Polarion extensions and scripts for customization purposes. Operate and provide support for ALM applications, particularly Polarion. Maintain close communication with the Polarion team and external partners/suppliers. Assist users with inquiries, implementation, and ongoing development, and systematically address tickets from end users. Execute change requests or minor projects based on customer specifications. Monitor applications to proactively identify and resolve performance or security issues. Create and update service documentation regularly, including maintaining the knowledge base. Plan and execute the rollout of new versions, products/solutions, and services, along with the necessary infrastructure. Collaborate with internal and external partners to operate future applications effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Java as a full-stack developer in software development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Groovy, and Velocity Macros.
- Proficient with source code management tools such as Git or Subversion.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with others.
- Willingness to travel to Europe for several weeks.
- Proficient in Business English (Level C1), highly self-motivated, and customer-focused.
- Ideally completed studies in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification with relevant additional skills.
- Experience in administering Polarion, developing, and deploying Polarion extensions.
- Experience with Polarion ALM implementation for requirements management.
