The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) operates under the Ministry of Personnel, Government of India.
As per the 2024 job notification for UPSC Scientist-B, Specialist, and other posts, candidates who have successfully obtained their MBBS or Master’s Degree in relevant fields are eligible to apply.
The selection for the desired post will be based on merit determined through the Test/Interview process.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants who have fulfilled the educational requirements of MBBS or Master’s Degree in the relevant subjects are eligible to apply.
Application Fee:
The application fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates is Rs.25, while SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt from paying any fee.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
