Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior knowledge of Oracle database version 11g, 12c, 18c, and 19c versions.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and internals.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database software and related products.
- Creation and maintenance of Oracle databases, including user management and schema design.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of database issues, including incident resolution, root cause identification, and preventive measures implementation.
- Planning and execution of database backup and recovery strategies for data integrity and availability.
- Basic configuration of Disaster Recovery Techniques, such as Oracle Dataguard.
- Knowledge of ASM (Automatic Storage Management) configuration and migration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with basic UNIX commands and functionality.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
- Oracle database performance tuning skills.
- Familiarity with Open Source Databases.
- Hands-on experience with IBM AIX Operating System.
- Basic knowledge of storage technologies.
