Mandatory Skills:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will report to the DevOps Team Lead and be tasked with meeting and anticipating developers’ needs. This involves offering support, automating infrastructure and deployment processes, and providing technical guidance as required. Furthermore, we are committed to enhancing the developer experience by continually improving our Tools-as-a-service and On-Prem release infrastructure, as well as automation processes.
Within the DevOps team, you will offer technical guidance and educate developers on infrastructure matters, ensuring adherence to best practices while addressing their requirements. This includes assisting with project onboarding, managing tool migrations, and implementing modern automation techniques, CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.
Professional Experience and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in working with JFrog Artifactory and JFrog X-ray products.
- Extensive experience with software configuration management (SCM) methodologies, particularly Git.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing build tools and establishing CI/CD processes using platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, or GitOps engineer, with a proven track record.
- Hands-on familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in working with Public, Private, or Hybrid Cloud environments, with a preference for AWS expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking principles.
- Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash, or Go.
Desired Skills:
- Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
